APD Condition Series

Ready for a new fitness challenge? Allen Police Department (APD) is offering new workout programs for Allen residents age 18 and older. APD Condition Series are free, beginner-level workouts styled after the training undergone by police recruits!

At each workout, expect a dynamic warmup and exercise demonstration followed by metabolic conditioning and ending with a cool down. Exercise regressions and progressions are included to make workouts easier or more difficult, ensuring you get the most out of each session. No equipment needed!

Condition 1

Condition 1 is designed to add cardio and abdominal work to your weekly routine. With 20 different movements, in addition to coached variations, you'll have fun while burning calories. Each 45-minute class takes place on specified days and locations (see registration details). You can register for as many different days/times that work with your schedule.

Condition 6

Condition 6 is a fitness bootcamp recommended for anyone looking to begin a physical fitness journey, change their routine or prepare for a physically demanding job. Each 45-minute camp meets on specified days and locations for six weeks (see registration details).

Condition 6 - Family Edition

Condition 6 - Family Edition is a FREE camp recommended for anyone looking to begin a physical fitness journey or change their routine. Open to adults as well as minors age 12 and older with a participating legal guardian. Registration required for participating minors.

Meet the instructor: Officer Mike Delio, CRU

Officer Mike Delio is a physical fitness instructor with experience training police recruits. He holds a Tactical Strength & Conditioning Facilitator Certification through the National Strength & Conditioning Association and is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. Officer Delio is assigned to the Community Relations Unit and is a Tactical Medic in the Allen S.W.A.T. Team.
